More randoms

Here are a few more random photos, these from today.  I grilled out and there were flowers near by.  I was trying to catch a bee in flight, and sort of got one with a flower in the foreground in focus.

Writing on the Wall

This wall, located in Galesville, WI has names carved into the bricks dating back to at least the 1940s

 

 

Messing Around

I've been messing around with my camera more than anything lately, testing out to see what it can really do and just getting myself more comfortable with it.  Here are some of the shots.

As soon as I got the new camera up and ready to go, I took it for a walk and ended up at the gas station to show it off.  This is a pretty uninspired photograph, but no complaints here.

Again, just some more screwing around, I did enjoy how this turned out though.  Just a mirror for people to check out their sunglasses in.

This is Rachel, she smiled for the camera but then stopped, this is somewhat in the middle.  It was more just screwing around, but something about the way the photo turned out, I really enjoy.  Can't quite put my finger on it.

New Camera

First day with the new camera.  I figured the first photograph I took with it should be a sort of self portrait for it and something I could use to show off my new, beautiful camera.
